Here is my Tuesday update, just because it so happens to be my day off.
After two weeks of sniffing, coughing, miserableness, me and Lily are over our colds. Except last night I got the stomach flu around midnight and haven't slept since. I hope Lily doesn't get it, I can't handle both me and her throwing up.
Hopefully I am better by this weekend. Me and Lily are going to Billings to get her 1 year pictures done, since we couldn't get them done while we were there since she was so sick. I am excited. We are going to take a picture with the three of us Mom, me and Lily. I feel bad cause she didn't get to have any pictures with Lily during her birthday so I am going to do this for her. I just can't figure out what to wear!! And we don't have any time to shop because I am leaving for Billings the day of the pictures. Hopefully the weather stays nice, its supposed to be rain/snow showers, which in WY and MT could mean flurries or blizzard.
Work is going great, I think the past two weeks are catching up to me cause I am so tired. I also had to work Saturday which was awful! It was so busy. PEOPLE, STOP RUNNING OVER DOGS! Ok, that is my little rant. Strangest event on Saturday...emergency call for a horse. The owners came home to her in the basement with some cuts on her, she jumped into the window well....ya, horse, through a window well. Now I'd like to see that. But I love work a lot more than I did while I was pregnant. This time I am more involved and actually soaking in a lot more. Yay for me. I am still thinking about taking some online classes. I'll probably start after the holidays, so we can save some $$ for christmas. I am so excited that this year we don't have to stress out so much on gifts. Its not like we can spend whatever we want! I don't make that much, but at least we have a bigger budget that has some room.
Lily is loving daycare. She is center of attention there. Every kid adores her. But she is learning a few things, good and bad. Good = how to drink out of a sippy cup by herself, Bad = how to climb onto the coffee tables and baby gate, Good = dancing to music, Bad = hitting when she is fusterated, Good = how to play with her toys, Bad = throwing fits cause she's seen the other kids do it, Good = can eat bigger portions of food without choking, and I don't know if its bad or good but she won't let go of her teddy bear now. Its really cute and but in the way though.
Well, that's it for this week. I am going to go get some lunch for Lily, not for me (I'm afraid to eat) and put her down for a nap so I can nap too. Hopefully I can do this every Tuesday or try to catch up on the weekends.
OH, thanks everyone for all of her new outfits for her birthday, she has pretty much worn all of them (except for the huge ones) and looks always super cute for daycare. But usually I pick her up at the end of the day with peanut butter and jelly or blueberries or something all over them. THANK GOD FOR SHOUT!
