Snowed in again.

Hi Everyone,

Well, SNOWED IN AGAIN!! I can't believe this! I was supposed to go garage sales today and a baby shower. The baby shower was postponed till tomorrow, so I hope the weather clears up. Gr. I can't believe how much snow we've gotten.

It's time for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life and me, David and Lily are going to participate this year. We've never done anything like this but we are excited. We want to show Lily these kind of events and to show her how cancer has affected our lives within our families and friends. Throughout the day and night, my teammates and us will take turns walking around the track. After all, cancer never sleeps and neither will we. Will you help in the fight against cancer by making a contribution to the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life?

The event takes place June 19-20 here in Gillette. We've joined the Animal Medical Center team. I think Lily will really enjoy seeing new people and we'll have a great time. Hopefully the weather is nice!! Who knows here! Me and David have a goal to raise $100-$200. I know its a large amount, but I know everyone in both of our families has been affected by cancer. We are also going to be contributing. Also, you can purchase a luminary through us to have someone's name on it that will help light the track. The luminaries honor or support someone with cancer. I believe they are $5 each, not sure, will confirm that. It would be really cool to have all the people we know in our families that have had cancer honored in our event. Just let us know if you'd like to support. You can send us whatever you can to us, either cash or check (made out to the American Cancer Society). Thank you so much!

Lily has been bouncing off the walls since we've been snowed in so many times. Its hopefully going to be nice next weekend for our trip to Billings for Easter. This time its going to be a short trip though. We aren't going to do the mad dashing of shopping like last time (unless they are super good deals!!). Lily is started to copy words that we say, she is getting so smart. Her new phrases are "waaas aah" (what's that) "BYE" (REALLY LOUD) "pe" (very quietly, this is Please, which sometimes is a fight to get out of her!). She is just such a silly kid! In this picture she's telling us she wants another cookie. Very seriously. Cookies are important you know.
